Singaporean central bank, IFC collaborate to promote green bonds

The Monetary Authority of Singapore is collaborating with World Bank Group arm International Finance Corp. to bolster the growth of green bond markets in Asia, according to a June 7 release.

The central bank and IFC signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance awareness of finance professionals on green finance issues and promote the use of internationally recognized green bond standards and frameworks.
