Domino's Pizza Enterprises fiscal H2 profit climbs 25.4% YOY

4912473 said its normalized net income for the fiscal second half ended June 28 came to 30 Australian cents per share, an increase of 24.3% from 24 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$26.1 million, a gain of 25.4% from A$20.9 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 10.9% on an annual basis to A$354.2 million from A$319.3 million, and total operating expenses increased 9.2% from the prior-year period to A$306.2 million from A$280.4 million.

Reported net income grew 40.6% year over year to A$34.9 million, or 40 cents per share, from A$24.8 million, or 28 cents per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 60 cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of 71 cents.

EPS rose 30.6% from 46 cents in the prior year.

Normalized net income was A$52.8 million, a gain of 35.2% from A$39.0 million in the prior year.
