Nakayamafuku Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 was ¥18.92 per share, compared with ¥18.80 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥381.9 million, compared with ¥379.4 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 3.6% from 3.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue totaled ¥10.75 billion, compared with ¥10.81 billion in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses came to ¥10.32 billion, compared with ¥10.38 billion in the year-earlier period.
Reported net income increased 6.3% on an annual basis to ¥388.0 million, or ¥19.23 per share, from ¥365.0 million, or ¥18.09 per share.
As of Nov. 14, US$1 was equivalent to ¥116.46.
