TenneT Holding issues €1.25B of green bonds

TenneT Holding BV launched and priced €1.25 billion of green bonds, according to a May 20 company news release.

The securities were offered in two tranches: €500 million of 0.875% green bonds with a term of 11 years and €750 million of 1.500% green bonds with a term of 20 years.

TenneT plans to use proceeds from the issuance to invest in green projects in the Netherlands and Germany, as well as to connect offshore wind farms to the power grid.
