Natixis names new global head of restructuring, workout

French lender Natixis appointed John-Charles van Essche its new global head of restructuring and workout.

He will replace Carol Le Chevallier, who is set to retire by May-end, Thomson Reuters LPC reported May 10, citing a spokesperson for Natixis.

Van Essche, who currently serves as head of restructuring and workout unit for Americas and head of runoffs New York, will assume his new role June 1. Based in Paris, he will report to global head of distribution and portfolio management Anne-Christine Champion.
