UniCredit SpA named Guido Filippa head of markets for Italy within the lender's corporate and investment banking division, effective Oct. 15.

Filippa succeeds Francesco Salvatori, who became head of CIB for the Americas in March. Based in Milan, Filippa will report directly to Guy Laffineur, head of global markets, and locally to Alfredo Maria De Falco, head of CIB for Italy.

Filippa joins the bank from alternative investment group Tages Group, where he served as group business development head.
