Dah Sing Financial, banking unit hike FY'17 dividends

Dah Sing Financial Holdings Ltd. and unit Dah Sing Banking Group Ltd. raised their total dividends for full-year 2017.

Dah Sing Banking Group declared a final dividend of 31 Hong Kong cents per share, up from 28 cents per share in 2016, according to a March 21 earnings release.

Including an interim dividend of 11 cents per share, Dah Sing Banking's total dividend for 2017 went up to 42 cents per share from 38 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Meanwhile, Dah Sing Financial's board declared a final dividend of HK$1.03 per share, at par with the final dividend in 2016.

Including an interim dividend of 32 cents per share, the parent company's total dividend for 2017 increased to HK$1.35 per share from a prior-year dividend of HK$1.32 per share.

Dah Sing Financial and Dah Sing Banking's final dividends are payable June 14.
