St. Modwen's nonexecutive chairman to resign; Wihlborgs to install new CEO

UK

* The nonexecutive chairman of St. Modwen Properties Plc's board, Bill Shannon, will vacate his position during the company's annual general meeting in March 2019. St. Modwen installed Shannon to the role in March 2011 and will appoint his replacement later in 2018.

* Regional REIT Ltd. brought in Frances Daley as nonexecutive director, as well as member of the board's audit and management engagement and remuneration committees Feb. 1.

* Following Manjit Wolstenholme's death in November 2017, Unite Group Plc named Elizabeth McMeikan senior independent director and Ross Paterson chair of the audit committee on Feb. 1. McMeikan became the student-housing real estate investment trust's nonexecutive director in 2014 and also holds chairmanship of its remuneration committee. Paterson, meanwhile, has served as a nonexecutive director at Unite Group since September 2017.

* UK Commercial Property Trust Ltd. will welcome Robert Fowlds as a nonexecutive director April 1. Fowlds retired from investment banking in November 2015, before which he led the real estate investment banking team at J.P. Morgan Cazenove.

Sweden

* Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB is looking to appoint Ulrika Hallengren, director of projects & developments, as its new CEO, effective May 1. Hallengren will succeed Anders Jarl, whom the company is proposing to position in place of executive board chairman Erik Paulsson.

Paulsson is stepping down after a 14-year stint, while Wihlborgs also adds Jan Litborn to its board.

South Africa

* Hospitality Property Fund said Linda de Beer, who joined the board in August 2011, relinquished her role as independent nonexecutive director, lead independent director and chair of the audit and risk committee, effective Feb. 5. The hotel real estate investment trust plans to announce its new audit committee chair and lead independent director in due course.

France

* Stéphane Theuriau will step down from his role as co-manager of Altarea and chairman of the Cogedim management board at Altarea Cogedim March 5, in order to develop a European property investment fund. Cogedim general manager Philippe Josse will assume the role of Cogedim management board's chairman, while Theuriau will go on to become a member of the Altarea supervisory board.

Netherlands

* Wereldhave NV's board will propose to designate Dennis de Vreede as CFO and member of the management board with effect from April 1 to April 2022 at its April 20 annual general meeting. The proposal follows a mutual agreement between current CFO Robert Bolier and the supervisory board to not stand for re-election and pursue other business interests, following the end of his tenure at the annual general meeting.

Belgium

* The manager of Warehouses De Pauw, De Pauw NV, nominated Jürgen Ingels for the position of independent, nonexecutive director at the Belgian industrial real estate investment trust. The nomination will be finalized at the general meeting of the manager April 25.
