Indian Hotels CEO resigns

Rakesh Sarna resigned as CEO and managing director of Tata Group hospitality firm Indian Hotels Co. Ltd., citing "personal reasons," The Economic Times reported.

Sarna resigned from his post at the completion of his three-year tenure, however he has agreed to stay on until Sept. 30, according to Indian Hotels chairman N. Chandrasekaran, the report noted.

The embattled CEO was recently absolved of a sexual harassment charge that took a toll on his tenure, The Economic Times reported.
