MLC Life named Emily Wu head of new fund partnerships focused on superannuation funds at the company's group insurance business, effective in October, Financial Standard reported.

Wu served as technical partnership manager at AIA Australia Ltd.

American International Group Inc. named Liam Burrell head of client and broker engagement for Asia-Pacific general insurance, effective Oct. 29, Insurance Business Asia reported.

Burrell served as division head for property and casualty in Singapore at Chubb Ltd.

AF Group announced the appointments of Steve Cooper president of Third Coast Underwriters and Abel Travis vice president of Fundamental Underwriters.

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc. promoted Adrian Cartwright-Bain to oversee a newly created division focused on the company's forensic account services and EFI Global Inc.'s environmental forensic investigations.

The company also appointed Peter Farrelly managing director of commercial claims services, with overall responsibility for the offering.

Beazley PLC appointed Rachel Turk head of corporate development and Wayne Imrie lead of the London directors and officers team.

She replaces Mark Goodman, who will be retiring.

Turk led the London D&O team, while Goodman was an executive risks underwriter at Beazley.
