Report: Asia's 2nd most expensive house changes hands for HK$900M

Macau casino magnate Stanley Ho's daughter, Pansy Ho Chiu-king, is understood to have bought the 28 Gough Hill Road mansion at The Peak in Hong Kong for HK$900 million, the South China Morning Post reported.

According to data released by the Land Registry, Smart Richest International owns House 3 in the development, and the company lists Jeny Lau and Yuen Kin-Kei as directors. The two also sit on the board of ferry and helicopter service operator Shun Tak Holdings, in which Pansy Ho serves as chairman and executive director, the publication noted.

The purchase of the 5,579-square-foot residential property is believed to be the second most expensive in Asia at HK$161,319 per square foot, next to 15 Gough Hill Road, which was sold in 2016 for HK$182,370 per square foot. The asset also includes a private pool and a 7,489-square-foot garden, the publication added, citing property records.

The mansion forms part of a seven-property development that was delivered by Li Ka-shing's son, Richard Li Tzar-kai, who sold the whole project in 2004 but kept one unit as an investment.
