Viper Energy Partners amends credit agreement

Viper Energy Partners LP and Viper Energy Partners LLC entered into a third amendment to its senior secured revolving credit agreement to increase the maximum amount of senior subordinated notes the companies can issue to $1 billion from $400 million.

The amendment also allows the issuance of up to $500 million of Viper Energy's senior unsecured notes before the scheduled redetermination of the company's borrowing base in November, according to an Oct. 10 SEC filing.

Wells Fargo Bank NA served as the administrative agent.

Viper Energy Partners is a Texas-based partnership formed by Diamondback to own and acquire oil and gas properties primarily in the Permian Basin of West Texas.
