Uber Technologies Inc. reached a settlement with the family of a woman killed after getting hit by one of its self-driving vehicles in Tempe, Ariz., Reuters reported March 29.
While financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, a lawyer representing the daughter and husband of the victim said the matter has been resolved.
Uber halted autonomous-car testing in all cities after the accident.
Also, Uber decided not to reapply for a self-driving permit in California, while Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey ordered the Arizona Department of Transportation to suspend the company's self-driving testing access in the state.
