India-based engineering company Larsen & Toubro Ltd. reported net profit attributable to owners of 31.67 billion Indian rupees for its fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, up from 30.25 billion rupees in the same period a year ago.
EPS rose to 22.55 rupees from 21.39 rupees in the quarter ended March 31, 2017. Revenue from operations rose to 406.78 billion rupees for the quarter from 368.28 billion rupees.
Larsen & Toubro booked net profit of 73.70 billion rupees, or 52.49 rupees per share, for the year ended March 31, up from 60.41 billion rupees, or 43.05 rupees per share, a year earlier.
As of May 28, US$1 was equivalent to 67.43 Indian rupees.
