Report: Banca Carige targets €1B bad loans sale before March

Banca Carige SpA is looking to sell €1 billion worth of bad loans by the end of February, Reuters reported Jan. 24, citing "a source close to the matter."

The Italian government signed a framework to help banks off-load bad loans by using government guarantees in mid-2016.
