S&P withdraws ratings of Garanti BBVA, Garanti Finansal Kiralama

S&P Global Ratings on Sept. 27 withdrew the B+ long-term issuer credit rating of Garanti BBVA, formerly Türkiye Garanti Bankası AŞ, and the B+/B long- and short-term issuer credit ratings of Garanti Finansal Kiralama AŞ.

At the time of the withdrawal, the outlook on the long-term ratings was negative. The ratings were withdrawn at the Turkish bank's request, the rating agency said.

Spanish group Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA is the ultimate parent of Garanti BBVA and Garanti Finansal Kiralama.
