Regency Centers Corp. Vice Chairman Chaim Katzman resigned from the board of the shopping-center real estate investment trust, effective immediately.

According to a company release, the resignation is due to time constraints from his new role as CEO of property developer and owner Gazit-Globe Ltd. and other commitments.
