Videocon d2h, an Indian pay TV company, reported a 15.5% year-over-year increase in its revenue from operations, coming in at 30.72 billion Indian rupees for the year ended March 31.
The Mumbai-based subsidiary of Videocon Industries Ltd. also saw its adjusted EBITDA grow 27.1% year over year to 10.18 billion rupees.
During the year, the company also gained 2.24 million and 1.05 million gross subscribers and net subscribers, respectively.
Executive Chairman Saurabh Dhoot said it was "yet another landmark year" for Videocon d2h, having achieved net profit and free cash flow breakeven.
Dhoot also shared an update on its merger with Dish TV India Ltd., which has recently received approval from its equity shareholders as well as the go-ahead from the Competition Commission of India.
He said Videocon d2h has began working on an integration plan, with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte and Aon Hewitt appointed to handle the post-merger integration and the management of the both Videocon d2h and Dish TV India.
