2 de novos file for deposit insurance

Two more de novos applied for deposit insurance in mid-March, according to a list of applications submitted to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.

The March 19 list discloses few details, but American Banker reported Rob Farr is slated to be Bloomfield Township, Mich.-based MiCommunity's president and CEO. Farr had held those roles at Birmingham Bloomfield Bancshares Inc., before its acquisition by Arbor Bancorp Inc.

Port Charlotte, Fla.-based Tarpon, meanwhile, will be helmed by Todd Katz. He was previously vice chairman of Calusa Bank, which merged into Achieva CU.
