Target Corp. said May 14 that it appointed William Foudy Jr. president of its Target Sourcing Services unit.
Foudy will be put in charge of the U.S. retail giant's global sourcing organization, which operates from 14 offices worldwide and covers product safety, quality assurance and responsibility initiatives.
He has most recently served as a Hong Kong-based vice president of global sourcing for Walmart Inc. and has also led international teams for brands including Adidas AG and Nike Inc.
Foudy will start in the role June 17 and report to Target executive vice president and chief merchandising officer Mark Tritton.
