Pinnacle Financial shareholders to vote on share increase

The board of Pinnacle Financial Partners Inc. is proposing to increase the number of authorized shares by 90 million to 190 million.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Pinnacle currently has 90 million common shares and 10 million preferred shares authorized. The proposed 190 million shares will be composed of 180 million common shares and 10 million preferred shares. None of the preferred shares are issued and outstanding.

Shareholders will vote on the proposal at the April 17 annual meeting.
