Norsk Hydro taking careful approach to restore systems after cyberattack

Norsk Hydro ASA said March 21 that its experts are taking a step-by-step approach to restoring IT systems infected by a recent cyberattack. It is still not clear when IT operations will be back to normal.

The company's extruded solutions operations is running at about 50% of normal capacity. Most operations are running as normal.

Norsk Hydro said it tapped Microsoft Corp. and other IT security partners to help resolve the issue.
