London will likely remain a leading global financial center even in more adverse Brexit scenarios, according to a report by the Central Bank of Ireland.
The impact of fundamental factors on London in such scenarios could be very small due to the so-called premium the city enjoys that is not captured by size or productivity, the report said.
The premium, however, could be eroded and may be sensitive to changing perceptions and abrupt changes in regulation and centrality brought by new trading arrangements, the report noted.
