Bridgewater Bank names SVP; Puerto Rico-based First BanCorp. elects director

Daniel Frye was elected as a director of San Juan, Puerto Rico-based First BanCorp. and subsidiary FirstBank Puerto Rico.

Frye is a former special adviser and area director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.


Joseph Thomas resigned from the boards of Old Line Bancshares Inc. and unit Old Line Bank on Aug. 30.

His decision to resign was not due to any disagreement with the Bowie, Md.-based company, the bank or its management.

Thomas was the president and CEO of Bay Bancorp, which Old Line acquired in 2018.


Bridgewater Bank appointed Lisa Salazar to the newly created role of senior vice president of deposit services and emerging products.

She most recently served as senior vice president national sales manager for treasury management at Sioux Falls, S.D.-based TCF National Bank, a unit of TCF Financial Corp.

Bloomington, Minn.-based Bridgewater Bank is a unit of Bridgewater Bancshares Inc.


Cross Keys Bank elected Scott Franklin to serve on its board.

Franklin is a licensed attorney and realtor.

The Saint Joseph, La.-based bank is a unit of BSJ Bancshares Inc.
