Linden Capital Partners closes 4th fund of $1.5B

Linden Capital Partners closed its oversubscribed fourth private equity fund, Linden Capital Partners IV, with $1.5 billion of limited partner commitments.

The healthcare private equity company exceeded its goal of $1.25 billion for the fund.

Chicago-based Linden started its inaugural fund in 2005 raising $200 million, followed by a second fund of $375 million in 2010 and a third fund of $750 million in 2015. The company is focused on middle-market healthcare companies in the services, medical products, specialty distribution and pharmaceutical sectors, among others.

Kirkland & Ellis LLP served as legal adviser, and Park Hill Group LLC served as placement adviser.
