Jozef Kausich was appointed chairman of the management board at Banka Intesa Sanpaolo d.d., replacing Giancarlo Miranda, who transferred within Intesa Sanpaolo SpA to Italy, the Slovenian lender said Feb. 23.

Prior to the appointment, Kausich served as management board member responsible for corporate banking at Slovakia-based Všeobecná úverová banka a.s., also a unit of Intesa Sanpaolo.
