JB Financial Group to call 200B won contingent capital securities

South Korea's JB Financial Group Co. Ltd. said in a Sept. 16 filing that it would exercise a call option on 200 billion won of contingent capital securities issued Sept. 22, 2014.

All of the outstanding securities will be redeemed Sept. 23 when the five-year call option takes effect.

JB Financial Group received approval from the Financial Supervisory Service on Sept. 11 to exercise the call option.

As of Sept. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 1,184.19 South Korean won.
