Report: JPMorgan to lay off about 400 in mortgage business

JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to lay off about 400 workers in its consumer mortgage business, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing anonymous sources.

The company plans to cut staff in cities including Phoenix, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Fla., and Columbus, Ohio, the news outlet reported. JPMorgan has about 20,000 employees in the division.
