Sultan Resources Ltd. outlined plans for a 5,000-meter aircore drill program at its Thaduna gold prospect in Western Australia's Meekatharra area, with results anticipated in November.
The company said Oct. 18 that the program will focus on targets near recent gold discoveries, including determining whether the mineral system at Lodestar Minerals Ltd.'s neighboring Ned's Creek gold project extends onto the Thaduna property.
Drilling will also work to understand the geology and regolith across exploration license E52/3481 at Thaduna, as well as better define gold and base metal anomalism.
Sultan Resources began trading on the ASX in mid-August after raising A$4.8 million in an oversubscribed IPO.
