Santander Brasil declares 510M reais interest on capital payment

Banco Santander (Brasil) SA said its board unanimously approved a proposal to pay interest on capital in the net amount of 510.0 million Brazilian reais.

The amount corresponds to about 6.49 centavos per common share, 7.14 centavos per preferred share and 13.62 centavos per unit.

The payments will be made starting April 26 to shareholders of record as of April 5, the bank said.

As of March 27, US$1 was equivalent to 3.33 Brazilian reais.
