Mitsubishi UFJ Securities unit gets license from Dutch regulator

MUFG Securities (Europe) NV, an Amsterdam-based indirect subsidiary of Japan's Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Holdings Co. Ltd., received a license from the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets to operate as an investment company.

Mitsubishi UFJ Securities is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc.

The license would enable the Japanese company to continue providing securities services to its clients across Europe after the U.K. exits the European Union.
