Poplar Bluff, Mo.-based Southern Missouri Bancorp Inc. director John Abercrombie will retire from the company and unit Southern Bank at the Oct. 28 annual meeting.

Upon Abercrombie's retirement, the companies' board size will be reduced to nine members.

Rancho Cordova, Calif.-based American River Bankshares added Julie Raney to its board and that of unit American River Bank. She is a deputy general counsel at Sutter Health.

Financial services

Atlanticus Holdings Corp. named Matt Zalubowski senior vice president of business development-retail credit. Zalubowski most recently was at Synchrony Financial.

EPlus Inc. directors Phillip Norton, Terrence O'Donnell, and Lawrence Herman retired from the board, effective Sept. 18.

Norton served on the board since 1993 and was later also named executive chairman. O'Donnell served as director since 1996, while Herman had been a director since 2001.

Morgan Stanley elected Stephen Luczo to its board, effective Oct. 1. Currently, he is board chairman for Seagate Technology PLC.

Manulife Investment Management named Angela Billick as COO and head of office for Ireland. She will continue as head of European investment product at the company.
