Endeavour Silver Corp. on Feb. 7 posted an initial resource estimate for its new Parral properties, as well as updated estimates of reserves and resources at its Guanacevi, Bolañitos, El Cubo and Terronera properties, all in Mexico.
Parral hosts indicated silver-gold resources of 37,000 tonnes grading 184 g/t of silver and 0.27 g/t of gold, with inferred resources estimated at 2.3 million tonnes grading 262 g/t of silver and 0.25 g/t of gold.
In addition, the Cometa deposit at Parral hosts indicated silver-gold-lead-zinc resources of 1.6 million tonnes grading 49 g/t of silver, 0.90 g/t of gold, 2.87% lead and 2.86% zinc, with inferred resources estimated at 1.3 million tonnes grading 63 g/t of silver, 0.88 g/t of gold, 2.55% lead and 2.28% zinc.
Endeavour Silver's properties host proven and probable reserves totaling 5.3 million tonnes grading an average 198 g/t of silver and 1.86 g/t of gold, for 33.5 million ounces of silver and 315,300 ounces of gold.
Combined measured and indicated resources are estimated to total 5.1 million tonnes grading 192 g/t of silver and 1.90 g/t of gold, with inferred resources totaling 6.6 million tonnes grading 227 g/t of silver and 1.23 g/t of gold. Resources were reported in addition to reserves.
The Guanacevi mine also hosts indicated silver-gold-lead-zinc resources of 363,000 tonnes grading 208 g/t of silver, 0.26 g/t of gold, 0.78% lead and 1.32% zinc, and inferred silver-gold-lead-zinc resources of 488,000 tonnes grading 132 g/t of silver, 0.16 g/t of gold, 1.36% lead and 2.54% zinc.
Endeavour Silver plans to spend US$11.1 million on exploration in 2018, with a focus on Parral to continue testing new silver vein targets while improving the geological understanding of historical resource areas.
