Poland's FSA assigns O-SII status to 12 lenders

ThePolish FSA classified12 Polish banks as "other systemically important institutions" andcalculated additional capital buffers for the lenders that reflect their riskexposure.

andUniCredit SpA unitBank Pekao SA werehit with an additional buffer equivalent to 0.75% of their total risk exposure,while that of CommerzbankAG unit mBankSA, Banco SantanderSA unit Bank ZachodniWBK SA and ING GroepNV unit ING BankSlaski SA was set at 0.5%.

unit ,Millennium BCP unitBank Millennium SA,BNP Paribas SA unitBank BGZ BNP ParibasSA, Raiffeisen BankInternational AG unit Raiffeisen Bank Polska SA, and will have to holdan additional buffer of 0.25%.
