FMC names incoming president, CEO

FMC Corp. on Dec. 18 announced Mark Douglas as its new president and CEO, effective June 1, 2020.

Douglas will replace Pierre Brondeau, who will continue to serve as chairman and CEO through May 31, 2020, at which time he will become a nonexecutive chairman and remain as a member of the board. FMC plans to recommend Douglas' addition to its board at its April 2020 general meeting.

Prior to FMC, Douglas held senior roles at Dow Chemical Co. Ltd. and Rohm and Haas Co.

Douglas is a director of Quaker Houghton and a member of the Crop Life International board of directors.

FMC's board declared a quarterly dividend of 44 U.S. cents per share, a 10% increase over the company's previous quarterly dividend of 40 cents per share.
