Shikibo fiscal Q4 profit falls YOY

4554502 said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 was ¥25.07 per share, a decline of 7.4% from ¥27.09 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥295.8 million, a decrease of 7.4% from ¥319.5 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 2.4% from 2.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue came to ¥12.57 billion, compared with ¥12.70 billion in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses totaled ¥11.94 billion, compared with ¥12.01 billion in the year-earlier period.

Reported net income declined 22.2% year over year to ¥259.0 million, or ¥21.96 per share, from ¥333.0 million, or ¥28.23 per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥96.14 per share, a decline from ¥97.30 per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was ¥1.13 billion, a decrease from ¥1.15 billion in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue increased on an annual basis to ¥47.32 billion from ¥46.38 billion, and total operating expenses grew year over year to ¥44.81 billion from ¥43.95 billion.

The company said reported net income decreased 11.0% year over year to ¥1.06 billion, or ¥90.29 per share, in the full year, from ¥1.20 billion, or ¥101.47 per share.
