Report: Golden Gate Ventures, Hanwha to raise US$200M for new fund

Singapore-based Golden Gate Ventures and South Korea's Hanwha Asset Management Co. Ltd. are partnering to amass US$200 million to fund technology startups in Southeast Asia, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

Investors have committed about US$80 million to the new fund, the March 19 report added.

The fund will target the series B capital raising rounds of consumer tech platforms around the region, the news outlet noted, citing the sources.
