Oracle setting up global centers for cloud innovation

U.S. tech giant Oracle Corp. will open seven new centers around the world for its Startup Cloud Accelerator program, the company announced Jan. 24.

New hubs will be launched in Singapore, the U.K., France, Brazil and Israel, in addition to two locations in India.

The cloud innovation program targets early-stage technology and tech-enabled startups, and provides six months of mentoring along with access to Oracle technology and services. Applications to each of the new centers are scheduled to begin later this year.
