Branford Castle Partners acquires ABC Industries

Branford Castle Partners LP, which actively invests in small and medium-sized private companies in the industrial, consumer goods and services and transportation and logistics sectors, bought ABC Industries Inc. for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition of ABC marks the sixth platform investment for Branford Castle Fund LP. TCF Capital Funding provided senior debt financing for the deal, while Brookside Mezzanine Partners made an equity co-investment and provided mezzanine debt financing.

ABC provides ventilation solutions and technical fabrics used for industrial ventilation, industrial textiles, underground mining and tunneling. It has two production plants in Warsaw, Ind., and Grand Junction, Colo.

The company aims to advance its new product development, make its production and processes more efficient, expand geographically, increase customers, and pursue potential acquisitions under the new partnership, ABC CEO Steven Fleagle said in a release.
