NorthEdge Capital invests in software provider CMAP

NorthEdge Capital LLP made a multi-million pound investment in CMAP Software Ltd., a Wilmslow, U.K.-based software-as-a-service provider, according to a statement.

The investment is the third deal financed by the private equity firm's NorthEdge Capital SME Fund, which was launched in 2018.

CMAP will use the deal's proceeds to develop its software product, boost growth in key sectors across Britain, and expand its footprint to U.S. markets. The company offers a cloud-based project management and tracking platform for businesses in various sectors.

Phil Davidson, former of hospitality software company Guestline Ltd., will join CMAP as company chair.
