U.S. soft drinks giant Coca-Cola Co. will eliminate 250 to 350 jobs after setting up a new operating model for its bottling system, MarketWatch reported Feb. 27.
The company confirmed the layoffs with the news outlet and said most of it will happen in its head office in Atlanta, Ga. Along with the job cuts, Coca-Cola reportedly will also reorient some positions and create new ones.
The beverage maker employs about 12,400 people in the U.S., according to a Feb. 23 SEC filing.
