Ambra fiscal Q3 loss widens 72.9% YOY

Ambra SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended March 31 was a loss of 20 groszy per share, compared with a loss of 12 groszy per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 5.0 million zlotys, compared with a loss of 2.9 million zlotys in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin declined to negative 7.8% from negative 4.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose on an annual basis to 64.6 million zlotys from 63.0 million zlotys, and total operating expenses increased 10.0% from the prior-year period to 72.4 million zlotys from 65.8 million zlotys.

Reported net income totaled a loss of 6.3 million zlotys, or a loss of 25 groszy per share, compared to a loss of 3.3 million zlotys, or a loss of 13 groszy per share, in the prior-year period.

As of May 11, US$1 was equivalent to 3.64 zlotys.
