Sentiment in the French services sector continued to falter in February as the composite indicator lost 3 points after shedding 2 points in January, survey results by the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies showed.
In February, the composite indicator stood at 106 — above its long-term average of 100 points.
Climate for accommodation and food services activities, information and communication, professional, scientific and technical activities, and administrative and support service activities fell while the indicator remained stable for real estate activities in February. The survey noted business optimism edge up for road transport during the month.
Meanwhile, expected employment climate on the services side fell for the second month in February.
