Ahold Delhaize commences €1B share buyback program

Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV on Jan. 2 commenced the €1 billion share buyback program that it announced in November 2018.

The announcement comes less than two weeks after the Dutch food retailer completed its €2 billion share repurchase program, under which Ahold Delhaize bought back 100,723,877 of its common shares.

The company expects the latest buyback program to be completed before the end of 2019.
