Paul Hyon is retiring as executive vice president and president of the MoreBank division of New Jersey-based Bank of Princeton, effective July 31.

Elliott Goldsmith was elected to the board of Bank of Travelers Rest, the Greenville (S.C.) Journal reported.

Goldsmith, a franchise owner for the Firehouse Subs chain, has been on the advisory board at the South Carolina-based bank's North Pleasantburg Drive location in Greenville since 2014, according to the report.

Marshalltown, Iowa-based Farmers Savings Bank added Janelle Carter and David Clark to its board, the Times-Republican of Marshalltown reported.

Carter is a former industrial engineer and is currently vice president of the Marshalltown Community School District school board, according to the report. Clark has been a dentist in Marshalltown for 35 years.

Irvine, Calif.-based Sunwest Bank named Thomas Chavez senior vice president. Chavez will lead the bank's new small business administration lending team.

Sunwest Bank is a unit of Western Acquisitions LLC.

The commercial real estate unit of WSFS Bank appointed Phil Hough, Ryan Schlegel and Ron Weingrad to the roles of senior vice president and senior relationship manager.

Hough started at WSFS Bank in 1986. After stints at other banks, he returned to Wilmington, Del.-based WSFS Financial Corp. in 2010 as a vice president in the commercial real estate division. Weingrad and Schlegel joined WSFS Financial in 2006 and 2011, respectively.
