Coronet Metals Inc. acquired a 100% interest in 1161097 B.C. Ltd., which wholly owns the Cariboo, Lac La Hache and Pinto gold projects in British Columbia.
The company said May 16 that it issued 17.5 million shares and paid C$25,000 to the shareholders of 1161097 BC.
The Cariboo project covers over 4,500 hectares and shares multiple claim boundaries with Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd.'s project of the same name.
Coronet is reviewing potential exploration programs targeting the tenure adjacent to Barkerville's during the summer season, it said May 4.
The Lac La Hache project comprises about 180 hectares of exploration ground on the north shore of Spout Lake, located close to the recent discovery by EnGold Mines Ltd. on the lake's south shore.
Meanwhile, the Pinto project covers about 80.9 hectares in southern British Columbia and has been subject to historic exploration interest by multiple majors during the 1980s.
