China Everbright Bank Co. Ltd. made changes to its board, naming new directors.
The bank said that Zhao Wei, Qiao Zhimin, Xie Rong and Feng Lun will retire from the board. Yu Erniu will also retire as supervisor of the board of supervisors.
The bank appointed Dou Hongquan, Liu Chong and Yu Chunling as nonexecutive directors. The bank also appointed Hong Yongmiao, Shao Ruiqing and Lu Zhengfei as independent directors.
Dou Hongquan is currently chairman of China Capital Management Co. Ltd., while Liu Chong is a director of China Cinda Asset Management Co. Ltd. Yu Chunling is vice chairman and general manager of China Re Asset Management Co. Ltd.
Hong Yongmiao is an academician of the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World and a professor of economics and international studies at Cornell University. Shao Ruiqing is a professor and doctoral tutor in Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance. Lu Zhengfei is a professor of Cheung Kong Scholars and a professor of accounting department and doctoral tutor of Guanghua School of Management of Peking University.
Meanwhile, the bank named Qiao Zhimin as external supervisor. Qiao is currently an independent nonexecutive director of the bank.
