Former Microsoft exec joins RingCentral as COO

RingCentral Inc. named Anand Eswaran president and COO of the company.

Eswaran replaced Dave Sipes, who resigned as COO, effective Jan. 13. Sipes is expected to remain in a nonexecutive role until the end of the second fiscal quarter of 2020 in order to assist in the transition of his responsibilities.

Eswaran most recently was corporate vice president for Microsoft Corp.'s Global Enterprise Business.
