National Grid seeks power supply proposals in Rhode Island

Narragansett Electric Co. is seeking power supply proposals to provide standard-offer service for residential, commercial and industrial customers in Rhode Island.

The National Grid USA subsidiary seeks to procure 20% of the load for its residential and commercial customers for the period from April 1, 2019, through Sept. 30, 2019, and 50% of the load for two blocks of its industrial group for the period from Jan. 1, 2019, through March 31, 2019.

Interested bidders should submit their respondent proposal information by 5 p.m. ET on Sept. 21. Qualified bidders should provide indicative pricing by 10 a.m. ET on Oct. 3 and final pricing by 10 a.m. ET on Oct. 10. The company will announce winning bidders and execute confirmations no later than two business days after final pricing.
