Anesco to build battery storage at Bacton gas terminal site

Anesco Ltd. is collaborating with Shell New Energies for a battery storage project at the Bacton gas terminal site in the U.K., according to a Jan. 10 news release.

Anesco will oversee the design, procurement, installation, commissioning and maintenance of the utility scale system.

The Bacton gas terminal is located on the Norfolk coast, 19 miles north of Great Yarmouth.

Shell New Energies is a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell PLC.
